The best Caribbean food I have had in the DMV yet. I ordered via pickup and not only was my food hot and fresh upon arrival - but the staff were kind and very welcoming. I am surprised that I am just now finding out about this place but I will be back.

For authentic, unwatered-down Jamaican cuisine, this restaurant is a standout. The curry goat I tried was exceptionally flavorful and expertly prepared. In fact, it was so good I bought 2 extra containers to take with me on a trip. Be aware that their popular oxtail tends to sell out quickly, so arriving early is recommended. Overall, a highly satisfying experience for those seeking genuine Jamaican flavors.

Customer service was awesome. The owner and his wife were super friendly, which goes a long way. 2/14 was my husband's birthday, so his meal was on them. The food was really good. We had jerk and stew chicken. The rice wasn't mushy. I will definitely be going back. Be sure to try the homemade pineapple ginger drink. It's good, and there is no sugar added.

Loved this place. In two nights for dinner, I had oxtail, curry goat, peas & rice, cabbage, a spicy beef patty, the all natural pineapple ginger juice and rum cake. Everything I had was amazingly delicious!!! It was like I was on vacation and stumbled onto this fantastic little gem of a restaurant in Jamaica. The oxtail was so flavorful and falling off the bones tender that it had my taste buds humming until dem curry goat crossed my palate and just about stole the show man! They were so tender, well curried and seasoned to perfection. I have to tell you that Mrs Deborah, part-owner, is in that kitchen cooking up some of the best authentic Jamaican food that I've ever had. The peas & rice and cabbage as sides alone were equally delicious. Definitely don't leave the restaurant without getting a bottle of their all natural refreshingly delicious 'D&G' pineapple ginger juice and a slice of their new adults only OMG heavenly very moist and yummy 'Top Shelf Cakes' Original Rum Cake, which will have you singing Bob Marley's song, Is This Love on the way out! I will definitely be going back to try some more of their amazing dishes!!

My husband and I stopped here on our way out and the food and atmosphere was amazing. The owner came and talked to us to make sure we were happy with our food. My husband is Trini and I am South American so carribean food is is close to our hearts. The food was fresh, oxtail and curry goat was on point. Definitely coming back!
